The story of Team Liquid’s Dota team in 2023 can be summarised very easily: 2nd place. With The International coming up, which happens to be the most prestigious tournament in esports, our goal was to create a campaign around rallying our fans to give our team the last missing piece to finally become first.
The theme for The International 2023 was all about cathedrals and stained glass. We decided, that we wanted to take this theme and run with it. The result was a old restored church as a location with an enormous stained glass Team Liquid logo and me being able to create a visual style & story for our team’s entire run in the tournament.
